The training includes health-promoting, preventive, curative, rehabilitative, palliative and social care dimensions of nursing action in order to maintain, promote, regain or improve the physical and psychological situation of the people to be cared for. In addition, the training includes counselling, accompaniment in all phases of life and the accompaniment of the dying.

The realisation of the educational and upbringing goals is geared towards the acquisition of professional competences. This unfolds in the dimensions of technical, personal and social competence, methodological and learning competence as well as communicative competence.
